Downloading the CR12 form after verification on eCitizen is straightforward once payment is confirmed and processing completes.
Log Into eCitizen Portal
Access https://brs.ecitizen.go.ke or https://brsv2.ecitizen.go.ke with your credentials. Use the eCitizen app for QR login if enabled. Navigate to “Business Registration Service (BRS)” on the dashboard.
Locate Your Application
Click “My Applications,” “Application History,” or “Pending Services.” Filter by status: look for “Complete” or “Paid” entries matching your Official Search (CR12). Select the relevant application by clicking “View” or the application number.
Check Processing Status
Verified applications show “Verified” status with green indicators. If pending, wait minutes to hours—CR12 generates automatically for active companies. Regenerate if delayed by clicking “Regenerate” (no extra fee).
Download CR12 Document
In the application details:

Scroll to “Downloads” or “Documents” section.

Click “Download CR12” or “Official Search Document” for the PDF.

Save the file showing directors, shareholders, registration status, and certified stamp.
Print or share the digital CR12 as proof—valid for tenders, banks, and compliance.
Troubleshooting Download Issues
Contact BRS support at 011 112 7000 or eCitizen helpdesk if stuck. Always verify the CR12 date for “updated” requirements (valid 3-6 months).
